Dumboor, Raimavalley, Oct 13 — In a major step toward improving the economic condition of local fishermen, the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) government has distributed 200 fishing boats to beneficiaries under the Raimavalley TTAADC Constituency.

The initiative, led by EM Rajesh Tripura, aims to strengthen the fishing sector and provide sustainable income opportunities to poor fishermen in the region. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, acknowledging his continuous efforts and vision for empowering tribal communities.

According to officials, the TTAADC government’s target is to enhance fish production and ensure that local fishermen can earn more for a stable and self-reliant livelihood. The distribution program marks another milestone in the council’s ongoing mission to uplift rural economies through fisheries and allied sectors.
