Rawat began his acting journey with his acclaimed portrayal of Ashwatthama in B.R. Chopra's Mahabharat before establishing himself as one of Indian cinema's most respected character actors and screen villains. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he delivered powerful performances across Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Bengali films.
