Massive Kisan Rally Held in Bongaon During Paschim Banga Krishak Sabha District Conference

A massive Kisan Rally was organized in Bongaon, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal, on the occasion of the District Conference of the Paschim Banga Krishak Sabha. The rally drew a large number of farmers and supporters, demonstrating the growing strength and unity of the farmers’ movement in the region.

All India Kisan Sabha General Secretary Vijoo Krishnan greeted the rally on behalf of the national organization, extending solidarity to the farmers of Bengal. The gathering was also addressed by former Member of Parliament Comrade Md. Salim, CITU District Secretary Gargi, and Kisan Sabha leader Salim Gayen, who spoke on the struggles and demands of farmers amid rising agricultural distress.

Presiding over the rally, Krishak Sabha District President Pankaj Ghosh emphasized the need for stronger collective action to ensure fair prices for crops, protection against market exploitation, and better support for small and marginal farmers.

The event concluded with a renewed call for policy reforms and grassroots mobilization to defend the rights of India’s agrarian community.
