The Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) has released Advertisement No. 19/2025, inviting online applications from bonafide Indian citizens for the direct recruitment of Senior Computer Assistants (Group-C, Non-Gazetted) across multiple departments of the Government of Tripura. The online application process is open from July 1 to July 31, 2025 (till 5:30 PM).

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess:

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Application / Computer Science
    OR

  • Graduate in any discipline with a 1-year Diploma in Computer or 'O' Level Certificate from a recognized institute

Also Eligible:

  • B.Sc (IT), B.Tech (IT), MCA, PGDCA (after Graduation)

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok

  • Permanent Resident Certificate of Tripura (PRTC) is mandatory

Important Dates

  • Online Application Begins: July 1, 2025

  • Last Date to Apply: July 31, 2025 (5:30 PM)

  • Tentative Written Exam Date: January 18, 2026

Age Limit (As on 31-07-2025)

  • 21 to 40 years

  • Age relaxation:

    • 5 years for SC/ST/PwD/Govt Servants

    • SC/ST Govt employees not eligible for double relaxation

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:

  1. Written Examination – 85 Marks (2 Hours)

  2. Interview/Personality Test – 15 Marks

Candidates qualifying the written test will be shortlisted for interviews based on the following ratio:
