Village Development Activities Gain Momentum Under Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan in Karbook RD Block, Tripura

Under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan Mission launched by the Government of India, multiple Village Committees (VCs) in Tripura’s Gomati District—particularly under the Karbook RD Block—are actively working on their Village Action Plans to boost local development. Among them, West Ekchari, West Karbook, Ichachari, and Jalaya VCs have shown outstanding dedication. Local NGOs like Raisa and Achai Kwtal are also contributing significantly to the mission. The initiative focuses on participatory planning, self-reliance, and capacity building to strengthen grassroots governance and promote socio-economic growth in rural areas.

Gomati District, Tripura — Under the Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan Mission initiated by the Government of India, several Village Committees (VCs) under Karbook RD Block in Northeast India’s Tripura have been actively engaged in preparing and implementing their Village Action Plans to promote grassroots-level development.

The VCs participating in this mission Among them, West Ekchari, West Karbook, Ichachari, and Jalaya have shown remarkable dedication and hard work toward achieving sustainable development goals in their respective areas.

Local NGOs such as Raisa and Achai Kwtal have also extended their full cooperation and support, contributing as much as possible to ensure the successful implementation of the development programs.

The Aadi Karmayogi Abhiyan aims to empower rural communities through participatory planning, capacity building, and self-reliance initiatives. In the coming days, the progress achieved under this mission will reflect the collective efforts of these Village Committees in advancing the socio-economic growth of the Karbook RD Block region.
