Eligible candidates (10th + ITI for Grade-III; Diploma/B.Sc/B.E/B.Tech for Grade-I) can apply online via rrbapply.gov.in by 28 July 2025. The application fee payment deadline is 30 July 2025, followed by an editing window from 1–10 August

Eligibility Criteria

  • Technician Grade-I (Signal):
    • Graduate in B.Sc (Physics/Electronics/CS/IT/Instrumentation), BE/B.Tech, or 3-year engineering diploma
    • Age: 18–33 years (as on 1 July 2025)
  • Technician Grade-III:
    • 10th pass + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades; some posts may accept Class 12 (PCM)
    • Age: 18–30 years

Application Fee

  • General/OBC/EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after appearing in CBT)
  • SC/ST/Ex‑Servicemen/PwBD/Female/EBC/Minorities: ₹250 (fully refundable)

Selection Process

  1. CBT – 100 MCQs, 90 minutes; includes negative marking (0.33 mark deduction)
  2. Document Verification
  3. Medical Examination

(Unlike earlier, there is no interview round.)

Pay Scale

  • Technician Grade-III: ₹19,900/month (Pay Level 2)
  • Technician Grade-I (Signal): ₹29,200/month (Pay Level 5)
