Karbook : The ever-busy MLA Sanjoy Manik Tripura, who apparently runs on a schedule tighter than a drum, has been so occupied with “public development” that he hasn’t had time for breakfast, lunch, dinner… or even to notice the ground under his own feet — especially the one made of asphalt.
For months, the road in Karbook constituency has been slowly transforming into a natural adventure park — complete with craters, puddles, and unexpected off-road experiences. Locals say it’s now so bad that even GPS systems refuse to give directions through it.
Today, the people of Gomti Tripura Karbook Patichari finally decided to “invite” their MLA to take a break from his non-stop, never-rest life. How? By blocking the road from Patichari to Jum with a traffic jam so big, even time itself got stuck. Vehicles lined up like they were auditioning for a world record in patience.
One protester joked, “We just wanted MLA to take a good look at the road… from the driver’s seat, not from a helicopter.”
Now, all eyes are on Sanjoy Manik Tripura and his alliance government. Will they finally fix the road, or will they just add it to the long list of “public development” projects happening in his mysterious, breakfast-lunch-dinner-free schedule?
Only time will tell — if it can get through the traffic.
