27 Families Join Indigenous People's Front of Tripura at Ashrambari Joining Programme
A joining programme was held on 14 February 2026 at Sites Smriti Community Hall in Ashrambari Constituency, where 27 families comprising around 80 voters officially joined the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT). Senior leaders including Swapan Debbarma, Budha Debbarma, Bhabesh Debbarma, and Tulashikhar BAC Chairman Pradip Debbarma welcomed the new members and expressed confidence that their inclusion would strengthen the party’s presence in the area.

A joining programme was successfully held on 14 February 2026 at Sites Smriti Community Hall under the Ashrambari Constituency, where several families formally joined the Indigenous People's Front of Tripura (IPFT).
According to sources, a total of 27 families comprising around 80 voters left other political parties and officially joined IPFT, expressing their support and confidence in the party’s vision and leadership.
Senior party leaders present at the programme warmly welcomed the new members. Among those in attendance were IPFT General Secretary Swapan Debbarma, IPFT Office Secretary Budha Debbarma, IPFT Assistant General Secretary Bhabesh Debbarma, and Tulashikhar BAC Chairman Pradip Debbarma.
The leaders welcomed the families into the party fold and expressed hope that their inclusion would further strengthen the party’s organisational base in the constituency.
