Indian Navy Opens B.Tech Cadet Entry Scheme; Applications Close July 14, 2025

The Indian Navy has launched its 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme 2025 aimed at recruiting unmarried Indian men and women into a Permanent Commission in both Executive and Technical branches.
Eligibility & Vacancies
- Vacancies: 44 in total (up to 6 seats reserved for women)
- Age: Born between 2 July 2006 and 1 January 2009
- Education: 10+2 pass with at least 70% in PCM and 50% in English (10th or 12th grade)
Selection Procedure
- JEE (Main) 2025 participation is mandatory; shortlisting based on CRL rank—no separate written exam
- Selected candidates will be called for SSB interviews at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, and Visakhapatnam starting September 2025
Important Dates
- Application window: Opens 30 June 2025, closes 14 July 2025
- Training commencement: January 2026 at the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala
Training and Career
Selected cadets will undergo a fully funded 4-year B.Tech course at INA in streams like Applied Electronics & Communication, Mechanical, or Electronics & Communication Engineering. Degrees will be awarded through JNU, with full coverage of training costs—tuition, uniforms, accommodations—and subsequent commission as Sub-Lieutnants
