Indian Tribal Care Festival–2025 to Be Held on December 6 in Dhalai District
The Indian Tribal Care Trust (ISKCON) will organize the first-ever Indian Tribal Care Festival–2025 on 6 December 2025 at Roysabari Manyakumar Para in Dhalai district. The event will feature HH Bhakti Purushottam Swami Maharaj from Mayapur as the Chief Guest, along with Sridam Govinda Dasa, President of ISKCON Agartala Temple. Many foreign devotees are also expected to attend. The festival aims to inspire local youth to move away from addiction and embrace positive spiritual practices, including chanting the Mahamantra of Lord Krishna.

The Indian Tribal Care Trust (ITCT) of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is set to organize the Indian Tribal Care Festival–2025 for the first time in the region. The event will take place on December 6, 2025 (Saturday) at the residence of Devendra Vaishnav in the premises of the Radha-Krishna Temple, located at Roysabari Manyakumar Para under Dhalai district.
This historic festival is being hosted with the active support of the local tribal community and aims to promote cultural harmony, spiritual awareness, and the upliftment of the youth.
The festival will feature His Holiness Bhakti Purushottam Swami Maharaj, ISKCON G.B.C. member from Mayapur, as the Chief Guest and keynote speaker. Alongside him, the President of ISKCON Agartala Temple, Sridam Govinda Dasa, will also attend the ceremony. A notable highlight of the event will be the participation of numerous foreign devotees, who are expected to join from different parts of the world.
According to the organizers, the festival holds special significance at a time when a large section of the youth population is increasingly falling prey to addiction and harmful habits. The Indian Tribal Care Trust aims to encourage positive lifestyle changes through spiritual practices, especially the chanting of the holy Mahamantra of Lord Sri Krishna.
The organizers expressed hope that the event will create meaningful awareness among the younger generation and strengthen spiritual values within the tribal communities of Tripura.
