IPFT Holds Joining Meeting at Bachaibari Ahead of ADC Elections
Ahead of the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections, the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) organized a joining meeting at Bachaibari Hasukni Kharang Community Hall under the Khowai Eastern Division. Senior party leaders attended the programme, which was presided over by Niruddha Debbarma. During the event, 21 families comprising 77 voters left other political parties and formally joined the IPFT, strengthening the party’s presence in the region.
Ahead of the Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections, the Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) party organized a joining meeting under the initiative of the Khowai Eastern Division today. The programme was held at the Bachaibari Hasukni Kharang Community Hall.
The meeting was presided over by Niruddha Debbarma. Several senior leaders of the IPFT were present on the occasion, including IPFT Central Committee General Secretary Swapan Debbarma, Padmabil RD Block Advisory Committee Chairman and Central Committee Vice President Prashanta Debbarma, Mungiakami RD Block Advisory Committee Chairman and Central Committee Assistant General Secretary Sunil Debbarma, Tulashikhar RD Block Advisory Committee Chairman and Central Committee Assistant General Secretary Pradip Debbarma, Youth IPFT Central Committee Vice Chairman Molin Debbarma, Youth IPFT Central Committee Assistant General Secretary Priya Debbarma, and IPFT Central Executive Committee member Rathindra Debbarma, along with other party leaders and workers.
At the end of the programme, a total of 21 families comprising 77 voters formally joined the IPFT after leaving other political parties. They were welcomed into the party by handing over the IPFT flag. The new members were received by General Secretary Swapan Debbarma, Vice President Prashanta Debbarma, AGS Sunil Debbarma, AGS Pradip Debbarma, Youth Vice Chairman Molin Debbarma, and Youth AGS Priya Debbarma.
The joining is seen as a boost to the IPFT’s organizational strength in the region ahead of the upcoming ADC elections.
