Ground Visit and Review Meeting Held Ahead of Tirthamukh Mela 2026
A ground visit and review meeting was held today in Karbook ahead of the Tirthamukh Mela 2026, scheduled for 13–14 January. The meeting was attended by Honourable Minister Bikash Debbarma, along with local leaders and administrative officials. Key discussions focused on infrastructure readiness, safety, sanitation, traffic management, and coordination to ensure smooth conduct of the mela.

A ground visit and review meeting was conducted today in preparation for the upcoming Tirthamukh Mela, scheduled to be held on 13th and 14th January 2026. The meeting was held in the presence of Honourable Minister Shri Bikash Debbarma, who reviewed the on-ground arrangements and infrastructure readiness for the mega religious and cultural event.
During the visit, discussions focused on crowd management, safety measures, sanitation, drinking water facilities, traffic arrangements, and coordination among various departments to ensure the smooth and successful conduct of the mela.
Several key local leaders and administrative officials were present at the meeting, including Karbook Mandal President and social worker Ashim Trpuira, Motha Block Secretary Shri Bishal Debbarma, Karbook Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Shri Samjoy Jamatia, and Karbook Block Development Officer (BDO) Shri Subrajit Paul.
The Honourable Minister emphasized the importance of proper planning and timely execution, directing officials to work in close coordination with local representatives and volunteers. He also highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of the Tirthamukh Mela and stressed the need to provide all necessary facilities for devotees and visitors.
The administration assured that all preparations would be completed well in advance to ensure a safe, orderly, and memorable event for the public.
