Tension surfaced at the Karbook Block Office after members of several SHGs and CSP women’s groups launched a protest over alleged misconduct and administrative issues involving TRLM CC Suman Debnath.
According to the protesting members, misleading information was allegedly communicated to different groups, resulting in misunderstandings and disputes among women’s organisations.
They also alleged that several loan-related matters and bills remained pending, creating difficulties for the concerned groups.
Demanding transparency, proper communication and the clearance of pending matters, the protesters locked the Block Office and called for the official’s transfer from Karbook Block.
