Agartala, August 26, 2026: Bubagra and Hon’ble Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC), Shri Runiel Debbarma, met Tripura Governor Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu Ji at Lok Bhavan, Agartala, on Wednesday.

The meeting focused on several important matters related to the TTAADC, including issues concerning the development and administration of the autonomous council and the welfare of the tribal communities of Tripura.

During the interaction, Shri Runiel Debbarma drew the Governor’s attention to several bills passed by the TTAADC that are currently awaiting consideration and assent. He requested the Governor to take up the pending bills at the earliest, allowing the Council to proceed with the necessary implementation of the provisions.

The CEM’s meeting with the Governor is being viewed as an important step toward strengthening coordination on matters concerning the autonomous district and ensuring that key decisions of the TTAADC can move forward.

The discussion also underlined the need for continued institutional cooperation between the TTAADC and the Governor’s office in addressing issues related to the development and interests of the people living in the autonomous areas.
