Trump Accuses Obama of Orchestrating 2016 Election Interference
U.S. President Donald Trump has accused Barack Obama of orchestrating the 2016 Russia investigation to interfere with the election, calling him “stone cold guilty” and alleging treason. Trump claimed Obama led efforts to sabotage his campaign, also blaming Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and others. He stated the entire investigation was politically motivated. Obama’s side has dismissed the accusations as baseless. The claims come as Trump builds momentum for the 2028 election, amid ongoing legal and political controversies.
U.S. President Donald Trump made serious allegations against former President Barack Obama, accusing him of leading a coordinated effort to interfere in the 2016 U.S. election. Speaking to supporters and the media, Trump called Obama “stone cold guilty” and even used the word treason to describe his actions.
Trump claimed Obama was the central figure behind the 2016 Russia investigation, which he believes was a political tactic to undermine his campaign and presidency. He also mentioned several other figures, including Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, and former intelligence officials, accusing them of being part of the effort.
These statements come as Trump continues to criticize the U.S. justice system and intelligence agencies, particularly in light of new materials reportedly submitted by former Congresswoman and now Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard.
Obama’s representatives responded by dismissing the accusations as politically motivated and lacking evidence. Independent investigations into the 2016 election found no proof of vote tampering or illegal coordination by U.S. government officials.
This development is seen as part of Trump’s ongoing campaign to rally support ahead of the 2028 election and shift focus away from other legal and political controversies.
