Minister Sudhangshu Das Chairs Review Meeting on Fisheries, Animal Resources and SC Welfare in Khowai
Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das chaired a review meeting at the Khowai District Magistrate’s Office to assess the performance of the Fisheries, Animal Resources Development and Scheduled Caste Welfare departments. Public representatives and senior officials discussed previous achievements, funding utilisation and ongoing projects.

Khowai, Tripura: A review meeting covering the Fisheries Department, Animal Resources Development Department and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department was held at the conference hall of the District Magistrate’s Office in Khowai district.
The meeting was chaired by Tripura Minister Sudhangshu Das, who oversees the three departments. Public representatives from two subdivisions and officials from various departments participated in the discussion.
The heads of the Fisheries Department, Animal Resources Development Department and Scheduled Caste Welfare Department were also present. The district administration was represented by Additional District Magistrate Abedananda Baidya.
During the meeting, the minister reviewed the welfare activities undertaken by the three departments during the previous financial year using the funds allocated to them. Discussions also focused on identifying gaps, assessing implementation challenges and evaluating the progress of ongoing initiatives.
The meeting further examined the status of new projects and activities being implemented during the current financial year.
Minister Sudhangshu Das emphasised the importance of reviewing departmental performance and ensuring that government funds are effectively utilised to deliver benefits to the public.
The meeting aimed to assess development progress, address shortcomings and improve the implementation of welfare schemes across Khowai district.
