The Indigenous People’s Front of Tripura (IPFT) organized a ‘Tripraland Awareness and Joining Programme’ at Ganganagar market under Ambassa subdivision on Tuesday.
During the event, 283 voters from 96 families left various political parties and officially joined the IPFT.

The new members were warmly welcomed into the party by IPFT President Prem Kumar Reang, who handed over the party flag to them in the presence of senior party leaders.

Before the meeting began, a large procession was carried out by party workers and supporters across the Ganganagar area, which later culminated in the market ground where the main public meeting was held.

Among the key leaders present at the programme were IPFT President Prem Kumar Reang, Assistant General Secretary Pradip Jamatia, Organizing Secretary Mithun Joy Reang, Charanbasi Tripura, and other senior members of the party.

Addressing the gathering, IPFT President Prem Kumar Reang stated that similar programmes were being organized in all districts of Tripura on the same day — November 4. He explained that the main aim of this initiative was to spread awareness about the party’s objectives and to strengthen the movement for the demand of ‘Tripraland’.

He further emphasized that the IPFT would continue its movement peacefully and within the framework of the Indian Constitution, maintaining peace and order while striving to achieve the rights and aspirations of the indigenous people.

Reang also mentioned that since Dhalai district is geographically large, the party held the same programme at two locations — Manu and Ganganagar — to reach more people effectively.
