Woman Dies After Being Found Unconscious Inside Radhanagar Stand Toilet

Agartala, September 11: A 22-year-old woman died after being found unconscious inside a public toilet at Radhanagar Stand in Agartala on Friday evening.
The deceased was identified as Kanchan Mala Debbarma (22), daughter of Raymohan Debbarma, and a resident of Bitor Moynama in Dhalai district, Tripura.
According to the information available, Kanchan Mala went to the toilet at Radhanagar Stand at around 6:00 PM. After she failed to return for a considerable period, the person accompanying her, Billion Debbarma (23), son of Dhiman Debbarma and a resident of Kalyanpur, Khowai, went to look for her.
He reportedly found Kanchan Mala lying unconscious inside the toilet and immediately alerted the Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire Service personnel reached the location and rescued her before shifting her to GB Pant Hospital. She was taken for medical treatment, but doctors subsequently examined her and declared her dead.
The circumstances that led to her becoming unconscious remain unclear. Further details regarding the cause of death are awaited.
