Tripura Govt. Reopens SAMARTH Portal for 2nd Phase College Admissions 2025-26
Tripura Higher Education Department has reopened the SAMARTH portal for the second phase of undergraduate college admissions 2025–26, from 16 to 21 July 2025. The process is for students who missed or were not admitted in the first phase. Admission will be merit-based, and already admitted students cannot reapply.

Agartala: -The Higher Education Department of Tripura has reopened the SAMARTH portal for the second phase of undergraduate admissions to Government General Degree Colleges for the academic session 2025–26.
The portal will remain active from 16 July to 21 July 2025 (midnight). This phase targets students who either did not get admission in the first phase or had not filled out the form earlier.
Applicants can apply to up to four colleges by selecting two major subjects and one minor subject per college. Students already admitted in the first phase are not allowed to re-apply. Violators may face cancellation of both admissions.

Admissions will strictly follow merit lists prepared by colleges after verification of original documents. Helpline numbers are available on the DHE and college websites for student support.
Further admissions, if required, will be handled directly by colleges using leftover merit list candidates. No manual forms will be accepted
