Agartala, July 4, 2025:
Today marks the 46th birthday of Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, founder of the Tipra Motha political party and current royal head of the former Tripura Kingdom. Born on July 4, 1978, Bubagra is the son of the late Kirit Bikram Kishore Manikya and grandson of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya, the last ruling king of Tripura.

Celebrations were held across the state, with thousands of indigenous Tripuris paying tribute to their beloved leader. In recognition of his contribution to the people of Tripura and his continuing legacy, Tipra Motha party workers—including Ministers, MLAs, EMs, and MDCs—organized social activities in every district and subdivision.

As part of the celebrations, the party distributed notebooks, pens, sweets, and fruits in hospitals, schools, and colleges. These acts of kindness reflect Bubagra's vision of upliftment and empowerment of the indigenous communities, especially the youth and underprivileged.

Tipra Motha, often considered the second-largest political force in northeast Tripura, continues to grow in influence under Bubagra’s leadership, with a strong focus on Greater Tipraland and indigenous rights.

The day was filled with cultural programs, community prayers, and messages of unity and strength from leaders and supporters alike, reaffirming Bubagra’s role not just as a political figure but as a unifying symbol of pride for Tripura’s indigenous people.
