Sports Equipment Distributed to Community Leaders by Karbook RD Block Under BAC PDF Funds

In a significant move to promote health and fitness among rural communities, the Karbook RD Block today distributed various sports items to community leaders from different areas. The initiative was funded through the BAC PDF (Block Advisory Committee - Priority Development Fund), aiming to encourage youth engagement and well-being through physical activity.

The distribution program was held in the presence of Karbook BDO Subrajit Paul and Vice BAC Chairman Pranab Tripura, who both emphasized the importance of sports in shaping a healthier and more disciplined society.

“Sports not only keep us physically fit but also teach teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Our aim is to empower the community, especially the youth, to grow stronger and healthier,” said BDO Subrajit Paul during the event.

Vice BAC Chairman Pranab Tripura echoed similar sentiments, stating that such initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to grassroots development. “This distribution is not just about equipment; it’s about creating opportunities for every village to build a vibrant and active sporting culture,” he said.

Sports items like footballs, volleyballs, nets, carrom boards, and badminton kits were handed over to the community representatives during the program.

Local leaders and residents expressed gratitude for the initiative and hoped it would be continued in the future to support youth development and community well-being.
