As preparations intensify for the upcoming TTAADC Village Committee (VC) election, political activities have increased across the ADC areas of Tripura, with leaders and workers of different political parties engaging with people at the grassroots level.
Leaders and workers associated with CPI(M), BJP, Tipra Motha and IPFT have been conducting meetings, rallies and public outreach programmes in different areas as part of their election-related activities.
Amid the ongoing campaign, some members of the public have raised concerns about the ground-level presence of Tripura East MP Kriti Devi Debbarman, saying they expect greater support and direct engagement from their elected representative during the election period.
According to the complaints raised by local people, the MP should spend more time interacting with communities, listening to their concerns and understanding issues at the grassroots level.
