A major benefit distribution ceremony under the Prime Minister Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme was successfully hosted at the Muktadhara Auditorium in Agartala on Sunday. The program was graced by Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal, Tripura CM Dr. Manik Saha,MP Rajib Bhattacharjee and other prominent figures. The high-profile event marked significant progress in providing financial inclusion and livelihood support to urban street vendors across the region. The program was graced by several top-tier central and state dignitaries. Chief among them was the Union Minister for Housing & Urban Affairs and Power, Manohar Lal, who is currently on an official visit to the state. Joining him on stage was Tripura Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha, who emphasized the state's ongoing commitment to the socio-economic upliftment of small-scale entrepreneurs and street vendors. Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries highlighted the transformative impact of the PM SVANidhi scheme, particularly its role in encouraging digital transactions, building financial self-reliance, and helping vendors recover from past economic disruptions.
