Ichachari VC Vote analytics Count Shows Conflicting Figures from Watermelon and TMP

Conflicting analytics vote figures have emerged from the Ichachari Village Committee election, with Watermelon- and TMP-reported data showing different ward-wise trends. TMP-reported figures indicate the party led in all four wards, while Watermelon-reported figures show Watermelon leading in three wards. A 15-vote discrepancy is also present in the Watermelon-reported Ward 2 data. The official result will need to be verified against the election authority’s counting records.

Tripura Karbook: Analytics Conflicting vote figures have emerged from the Ichachari Village Committee (VC), with Watermelon- and Tipra Motha Party (TMP)-reported numbers showing different results across the four wards.

According to figures shared by TMP, the party received 265 votes in Ward 1, compared with 122 votes for the Watermelon, giving TMP a reported lead of 143 votes. In Ward 2, TMP reportedly secured 201 votes, while the Watermelon received 190 and the CPI(M) 54 votes, putting TMP ahead by 11 votes.

In Ward 3, the TMP-reported figures show 76 votes for TMP, 46 for the Watermelon and 30 for CPI(M), giving TMP a reported margin of 30 votes. In Ward 4, TMP reportedly received 202 votes against 120 for the Watermelon, a margin of 82 votes.

Based on these TMP-reported figures, the four wards together account for 1,306 votes, with TMP receiving 744, Watermelon 478 and CPI(M) 84. On this set of figures, TMP accounts for about 56.97%, Watermelon 36.60% and CPI(M) 6.43% of the votes counted.

However, figures attributed to the Watermelon present a different picture. The Watermelon-reported numbers show TMP ahead in Ward 1 by 78 votes, while Watermelon is reported to be ahead in the remaining three wards.

There is also a numerical discrepancy in the Watermelon-reported Ward 2 figures. The reported numbers—Watermelon 236, TMP 194 and CPI 30—add up to 460 votes, whereas the stated ward total is 445. This creates a difference of 15 votes that needs to be clarified.

The conflicting figures indicate that the party-reported numbers should not be treated as the official final result until they are matched with the official counting sheet or election authority's result.
