Tripura Achieves 100% Success in Key NITI Aayog Indicators; CM Launches ₹82 Cr 'Mukhyamantri Nabodisha Abhiyan'
Agartala, August 2, 2025:
Tripura continues to add new feathers of achievement to its cap of development. In a remarkable milestone, the state has achieved 100% success in six Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) under the Quarterly Saturation Campaign 2024, conducted by NITI Aayog.
Significantly contributing to this achievement were the aspirational district of Dhalai and the aspirational blocks of Ganganagar, Dashda, and Damcherra, which are predominantly inhabited by tribal communities.
To celebrate this outstanding accomplishment, a Sampurnata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh was held today at Prajna Bhavan, Agartala. During the ceremony, the then District Magistrates, Block Development Officers (BDOs), and Krishi Sahayak Mitras of the respective districts and blocks were honored for their dedicated efforts.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the 'Mukhyamantri Nabodisha Abhiyan', a major rural livelihood initiative under the Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM). The scheme will invest ₹82 crore to support 80 Integrated Farming Clusters in 16 backward blocks across the state.
Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Aakangkha Haat, a new marketplace initiative operated by Self-Help Groups (SHGs), aimed at enhancing income-generating opportunities for rural women and strengthening the SHG ecosystem.
These initiatives collectively reflect the state government's commitment toward inclusive growth, rural empowerment, and tribal development, aligning with national development goals and sustainable livelihood strategies.
