Security Forces Conduct Area Domination Ahead of Village Committee Polls
Police and security forces have intensified surveillance and area domination in Teliamura and Mungiakami ahead of the VC election, while authorities have appealed to voters to participate peacefully and exercise their democratic rights.

Ahead of the upcoming Village Committee election, Tripura Police and security forces have stepped up surveillance and patrolling across sensitive areas of the Teliamura subdivision and Mungiakami.
A senior police team led by Khoya SP V. J. Reddy visited several locations on Saturday to review the security situation. The team included Additional SP Justin Joseph, SDPO Rohan Kisan, police station OCs and personnel from the police, CRPF and TSR.
At Biladhan Chowdhury Para High School, the SP said security arrangements have been strengthened through coordinated efforts by local police, district police units and CRPF personnel. Regular foot patrols, vehicle searches and area domination operations are being carried out to prevent anti-social activities and maintain a peaceful environment.
The police administration said special attention is being given to sensitive locations and efforts are being made to build confidence among residents ahead of polling.
The SP also appealed to voters to participate in the election without fear or hesitation, stressing that every vote is important in expressing the people’s democratic choice.
